Restful Sleep – The Key to a Better Quality of Life
Sleep is a topic that is as much a part of our everyday lives as breathing - and yet it always gives us something to talk about. Some people seem to be blessed with a kind of sleep superpower: they put their head on the pillow, fall asleep immediately and wake up in the morning refreshed and full of energy. But for many others, the reality is different. Insomnia, restless nights or the feeling of wanting to go straight back to bed after getting up are a daily companion for many.
Why do so many people sleep poorly?
Our modern lifestyle is a major contributor to this: lack of exercise, insufficient fresh air, poor eating habits, constant availability and stress at work are just some of the factors that can affect our sleep. Add to this the all too familiar "just scroll for five more minutes" on social media, which often turns into an hour and puts the body in a state of alert instead of allowing it to rest.
Once you get into this vicious circle, it's hard to get out again. But restful sleep is essential - for our health, our performance and our well-being.
Our Mission: The Path to Better Sleep
With the aim of creating the best possible sleeping comfort for our customers, we teamed up with Kaisin to get to the bottom of the secrets of a restful sleep. In doing so, we came across an often underestimated topic: proper nutrition.
What many people don't know is that what we eat before going to bed has a big impact on how well we sleep. Healthy fats, such as those found in nuts, help to keep blood sugar levels stable and prevent us from being woken up by hunger pangs at night. Magnesium from avocados relaxes the muscles and helps the body switch to rest mode.
The Recovery Bowl: Sleep comfort starts on the plate
This realization gave rise to the Recovery Bowl – a culinary concept that we developed together with Kaisin to optimally prepare your body and mind for a restful night.
The ingredients of the Recovery Bowl have been carefully selected to provide the perfect balance of taste and functionality:
Salmon : Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce stress and promote sleep quality.
Quinoa : An excellent source of tryptophan, which the body converts into the “sleep hormone” melatonin.
Kale and Edamame : Packed with magnesium and potassium to relax muscles.
Ginger Guacamole : Aids digestion and provides an extra dose of healthy fats.
Almonds : For regulating blood sugar levels so that nighttime hypoglycemia is a thing of the past.
A launch that invites you to relax
To launch the Recovery Bowl, we organized a very special morning on November 10th. In a relaxed atmosphere, our guests were able to discover the connection between nutrition, relaxation and sleep. In addition to inspiring sleep coaching, which provided valuable tips for better sleep, a singing bowl therapy offered the opportunity to let go of everyday life and completely relax.
The first step to restful nights
The Recovery Bowl shows that good sleep doesn't just start in bed, but during the day. With the right diet, conscious stress management and small adjustments to our habits, we can do a lot to make our nights more restful.
Try the Recovery Bowl and discover how easy it can be to balance sleep and well-being. Your body will thank you - and your nights will be as restful as they should be.
